Wolftrap News

New National Bike to School Day is Wednesday, May 4.  Active transportation to school is an excellent way for students to start their day. Wolftrap has been participating since 2009 and last year we had over 100 bikes in our racks.  So far we have two bike trains running from Liberty Tree Lane and the corner of John Marshall/MacArthur. Fairfax Police Bike Patrol will be joining those two bike trains as well. Long range forecast looks good, too. Any questions email saferoutes@wolftappta.org. Volunteer needed at the bike racks to hand out seat covers and back pack tags to bike riders.

New The 5K results are in: Wolftrap raised $30,000 and had a record 572 runners! THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this a success. See race results here.

New Spirit Wear is available to order until May 13th!  Please click here to purchase apparel and support our school!

New Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2-6!  To thank their teachers, this year the students are asked to do the following:

  • Wednesday, May 4 - Bring in a handwritten "thank you" note/card for your teacher
  • Friday, May 6 - Bring in a treat for your teacher (fruit, snack, drink, K-cup, gift card, etc.)

In addition, the Teacher Appreciation Committee is hosting lunch for the teachers on Thursday, May 5.  Please sign up here to chaperone during lunches on this day so that the teachers can enjoy a longer lunch!
