New 6 volunteers still needed for Vision and Hearing Screening on Tuesday, October 20 9am-1pm.  If interested, email volunteer@wolftrappta.org or president@wolftrappta.org.  Volunteers meet in the clinic at 9am.

New The Art Room is collecting CLEAN Yoplait Yogurt cups to use for paint stations this year.  There is a box for clean donations outside the art room.

New Wolftrap Elementary's Recycling and Food Share to kickoff October 5th! Please check out our new webpage to see what we do!  Lunch Volunteers are needed to assist the kids in learning the sorting system - Food Share, Recycle & Trash. Please sign up here for a lunch shift.  A few volunteers are still needed for deliveries to Food for Others. Please sign up here to help with a weekly delivery

New Bingo Night is Friday, October 16 from 6-8pm. All students, teachers, parents and families are welcome to join in this fun evening.  Please sign up to volunteer here!  Ice cream will be available for purchase (cash only) plus Wolftrap Spirit Wear (Checks only).  Show your support of the school & PTA by purchasing school spirit wear!

PTA Annual Report 

New Dr. Heather Tedesco is an applied psychologist with a specialized practice working directly with parents to improve their family’s day to day life and to support the long-term development of happy, authentically successful children, teens, and adults. She will be presenting at the October 20th Wolftrap PTA meeting on the topic of managing and reducing stress in daily life. 

New A parent information meeting will be held at Wolftrap on October 20 from 6 PM - 6:45 PM. Jill Clopton, Wolftrap’s Advanced Academic Resource Teacher, will provide information about levels of service at Wolftrap as well as explain and answer questions about the screening processes for part-time school based and full-time Level IV services. The meeting is open to all K-6 parents.

Bike Rack:  This summer FCPS installed a 5th bike rack at Wolftrap.  At the request of some SACC families, a small rack was added on the far end of the rear parking lot.  Check it out and remember to always lock up your bike.

New Now through October 28th, FCCPTA is co-sponsoring non-partisan Candidates Forums (Meet & Greets) in each magisterial district as well as a Candidates Forum for School Board Members at Large and Board of Supervisors Chair candidates on Tuesday, October 13, Madison High School, Vienna, 7:00 p.m.
