NewJune PTA Meeting. The final PTA meeting is June 11th at 9am – the meeting will be in the cafeteria (the Teacher’s Lounge will be used for voting). A thank you breakfast for all our volunteers will be provided by the current PTA board – please stop by – we will also be voting in the new PTA board!
NewWolftrap takes the Bike/Walk Week Challenge cup! With 1155 walk and bike trips made last week, Wolftrap wins the Challenge Cup
for the first time in the Challenge's three year history. With an
increase of over 6% from last year, Wolftrap was the only school with
more trips made this year than last and 10 points higher than the next
challenger. And although Wolftrap set two bike records with 102 on
Wednesday and 106 on Friday, Vienna came from behind to take the Bike
Cup whilst we took a solid 2nd place. Thanks to all the kids (and
parents) for walking and biking. Kiss & Ride cars dropped from 92
on Monday to 50 on Friday. See the article in the Vienna Patch.

New FCPS to Host Community Engagement Sessions on Digital Learning. FCPS will soon hold a series of community engagement sessions for students, parents, staff, and community members to share their thoughts on a digital learning vision for FCPS. The goal is to contribute to the development of a strategic plan for digital learning.
The meetings will provide an overview of digital learning and then have attendees work in groups to share ideas and information. The collective input will be shared with the School Board in the fall. One meeting will be held in each cluster. For our cluster, the meeting will be held at Wolftrap on May 30th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Cafeteria.Details
Remodeling your kitchen? in case any of you are remodeling your kitchen, the staff and teachers are looking for a new microwave. Theirs died last week. Please contact Diane Long if you can donate your old working one.
