New The Virginia PTA is asking all PTA members to advocate IMMEDIATELY against a block of Virginia bills, (Sj6, SJ93, and SB588), which would create a constitutional amendment to allow the state to grant charter school authority. This strips localities' ability to grant charter school authority and puts it in the hands of those in Richmond.

The bill goes to the Senate floor for a vote ASAP - as early as Friday, February 4! Your voice is needed now to tell your State Senator to oppose SJ6, SJ93, and SB588.
